Bevalie Pritchard (School Mistress - Principal Teacher) ::

Bevalie Pritchard began her classical training with Robert Barnett, Merrilee Smith and Carl Radcliff at Atlanta Ballet where she danced professionally with the Atlanta Ballet Apprentice Company. Ms. Pritchard has a BA Degree in Ballet and teaching certificate from Virginia Intermont College, where she also danced with the Bristol Concert Ballet. For two years she attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet summer course where she studied the Fundamentals of Pedagogy for teaching grades 1-6 of the Vagonova Syllabus. Pritchard also teaches a motivating and Pilates-based "CoreFlex" conditioning/stretch class for students and adults. She has been Rehearsal Mistress for Youth Ensemble Performances with Orlando Ballet School, and has performed character roles with Orlando Ballet's professional company under the former Artistic Director, Fernando Bujones including Giselle's mother and Coppelia's mother. July 2009 marks her 13th Anniversary year as a teacher at Orlando Ballet School.
